There is an old adage which states that the value of any organization can be found within its members. This is certainly true of the Commercial Services Group’s staff and Product Specialists. Both the CSG and the other Ally departments provide many valuable services, which extend well beyond the rates we offer. Our true value can be found in the complete package of services, products and knowledge we provide to help your dealership succeed.

Ally’s ultimate goal is assisting dealerships in the delivery of vehicles and related products. The CSG takes this ideology a step further to specialize in commercial transactions and vehicles. Below are a few of the tools we offer to help your dealership thrive as a one stop shop for all your commercial customers:

  • Business only Transactions – Established companies with previous Ally payment experience may be eligible for financing solely in the company’s name, without the need for a guarantor or co-buyer on every transaction.   • Third Party Guaranty – Have a customer who wants to keep his personal and business obligations separate? We may be able to help. With our Third Party Guaranty program, business owners can keep their business obligations off of their personal credit bureaus while still providing additional security that Ally may require.   • Flexible retail and leasing plans – From incentivized retail and lease programs to customized ComTRAC leases, the CSG can provide the right type of financing for your commercial customer. Click here for additional information.


  • Municipal Lease-Purchase Plan – The CSG also specializes in special programs geared exclusively towards Municipalities for “essential use” vehicles such as police cruisers, ambulances, and other equipment.


  • Commercial Lines of Credit – A pre-approved commercial line of credit for your customer simplifies the purchase and lease process and makes it faster and easier for you to deliver multiple commercial vehicles.   • Consolidated Billing Statements – Ally CSG is pleased to offer consolidated billing statements to Ally business customers with multiple accounts. Generally, this single billing statement will be available for retail, SmartLease and ComTRAC commercial accounts with Ally, provided all accounts maintain the same payment due date.   • Experienced, Professional Commercial Product Specialists - Our experienced product specialists stands ready to provide your dealership with the following services:


    Joint customer contacts – Schedule a time for a product specialist to personally accompany dealership personnel on your commercial sales calls. Allow our experts to showcase our plans and programs to your customers directly and answer any questions they may have on our product line.
    Dealership training – Whether you have recently hired new commercial sales people or need a refresher in commercial finance and lease programs, your product specialist is an excellent source of customized training to help you achieve your goals.

  •  Dedicated Acquisition Analysts We maintain a staff of buyers until 7 PM Central time most nights and work extended hours on weekends. We staff up to ensure that you get answers on applications back as quickly as possible.



  •  Accessibility - We strive to be easily accessible to handle all your needs, keep you updated on the latest changes and answer your questions in a timely manner. We established a comprehensive website established solely for dealer use in order to keep you updated on what’s happening within the CSG and e-mail alerts designed to communicate important CSG announcements.   • General Motors Protection Plan (GMPP) - GM Protection Plan contracts protect against unexpected vehicle repair costs and ensure your vehicle receives proper maintenance. Mechanical Repair Protection provides the same for non-GM vehicles. Both are available in a variety of coverages and time and mileage combinations. Whether your vehicle is new or used, purchased or leased, GM Protection Plan and Mechanical Repair Protection protect your vehicle.
